MARTIN MERZ has his musical roots in the Industrial and EBM. After several projects in this field, he was inspired by his move from Frankfurt to Berlin to the production of purely electronic music. In the spirit of Industrial, he develops his sound from elements of experimental and avant-garde music, combining them with the modern aspects of techno to create his own style. In doing so, he always looks at the world in a certain twilight and tries to transport this view in his music. This results are atmospheric, dark sounding landscapes, which are inviting with percussive background for dancing and exploring alike. The synthesizer and the rhythm section are always the central tool of his composition.

MARTIN MERZ hat seine musikalischen Wurzeln im Industrial und EBM. Nach mehreren Projekten in diesem Bereich inspirierte Ihn sein Umzug von Frankfurt nach Berlin zur Produktion rein elektronischer Musik. Ganz im Sinne des Industrial entwickelt er seinen Sound aus Elementen der experimentellen und avantgardistischen Musik und kombiniert diese mit den modernen Aspekten des Techno zu einem eigenen Stil. Dabei betrachtet er die Welt immer in einem gewissen Zwielicht und versucht diese Sichtweise in seiner Musik zu transportieren. Daraus resultieren atmosphärische, dunkle Klanglandschaften die mit perkussiver Untermalung zum Tanzen und Entdecken gleichermaßen einladen sollen. Der Synthesizer und die Rhytmussektion sind dabei immer das zentrale Werkzeug seiner Komposition.
